Mount Snow Lift Ticket Reservation Information
In response to the pandemic, the resort has set up a lift pass reservation system to limit crowds and maintain a safe environment. Day Tickets can be purchased in advance and comes with a guaranteed reservation to ski on the date you choose. This type of ticket will likely have limited availability on peak holiday days – so please plan ahead.
For the 2020/21 ski season reservations are required for EPIC Pass Holder as well at Mount Snow. The EPIC Pass Holder reservation system is now live and is exclusive to Pass Holders through December 7th. Lift tickets go on sale on December 8th after pass holders reserve their priority days. You can also use your EPIC Pass for access to discounts at the mountain.
About the Mountain
Mount Snow is located right here in West Dover, Vermont, and is within the Green Mountain National Forest. Made up of four mountain areas, the Main Mountain, North Face, Sunbrook, and Carinthia, each one snow-packed full of their own unique skiing and snowboarding experiences. From beginner to advanced there are plenty of trails and exciting terrain parks for all skill levels. They also boast 20 ski lifts and 5 magic carpets which means you can get to the Mount Snow sees an average annual snowfall of 156” making the winter snow conditions sure to be perfect when you arrive!
Safety
Safety at Mount Snow takes on a whole new meaning in the 2020/21 season. Advance reservations are required to access the mountain. All transactions will be cashless – Mount Snow recommends booking and reserving online in advance whenever possible. Expect to need face-coverings to access the mountain, while indoors, in any line, on chairlifts, and whenever you are unable to maintain physical distancing.
Learn
Mount Snow offers adult, child, and private ski and snowboard schools. Whether you are a beginner or looking to brush up on your skills their team of ski professionals will be sure to have you enjoying the slopes. The learning programs also offer their own rental shop making the process a breeze.
If you are new to Mount Snow we highly recommend their Mountain Ambassador Program. The Mountain Ambassadors provide a variety of services including a mountain tour. They will help familiarize you with the mountain loops and lifts specific to your ability level.
Activities
In addition to skiing and snowboarding at Mount Snow, you can also enjoy the fun of snow tubing! With eight lanes the snow tubing hill at the base of Mount Snow is one of the biggest in Vermont. Snowshoe rentals are available at the Mount Snow Sports at the Grand sports shop. If you are looking for a more exhilarating adventure Snowmobile Vermont offers tours that depart from the Mount Snow Discover Center.
If you prefer to stay cozy indoors or just need to relax those muscles after a day on the slopes visit the Nature spa. They even have spa packages that offer guided treks via snowshoe in the winter and wilderness hiking in the summer followed by a massage.
When you are ready for a break or need to warm up with a hot beverage choose from endless dining options including deli sandwiches and burgers to farm to table and small plates with mountain views. On the weekends have a craft or microbrew at the Station Tap Room with live music.
